Molly Reddish New VP of Specialty Retail at BMDG

FORT WAYNE, INDIANA [Jan. 8, 2016] — Molly Reddish has joined Britton Marketing & Design Group as vice president of specialty retail. Reddish, whose responsibilities will focus on expanding specialty retail business for the agency, began her duties with the design firm in late November.

A native of Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in merchandising management, Reddish brings a wealth of product development and sourcing experience to BMDG. Most recently she spent time at children’s apparel company Matilda Jane Clothing, where she was director of development, production and sourcing. Prior to that, she was senior director of product development at Vera Bradley, where she was responsible for all facets of product development for the company’s handbag, fashion accessories, paper and gift, rolling luggage and eyewear lines.

Previously Reddish worked in brand licensing for John Deere, overseeing 20 apparel, footwear, accessories and home-goods licensees. From 2000 to 2002, she spent time in Jakarta, Indonesia, in the garment division of P.T. Texmaco, where her duties as general manager included creating a garment division for the large textile mill.

Earlier in her career, Reddish was employed by Nike as a senior sourcing manager responsible for developing and implementing a manufacturing strategy for seven business groups within the men’s apparel division. She also served as a global planning/sourcing manager for Target, where her duties included developing and implementing sourcing strategies for several product lines, including accessories, jewelry, footwear and men’s sleepwear.

She is currently completing coursework toward an MBA through Grace College.

Reddish is quickly becoming acquainted with the lifestyle marketing projects BMDG is spearheading for clients such as Vera Bradley and Peter Millar. “I’m excited about helping our clients present themselves in a more brand-appropriate way,” she said. “I look forward to helping them stand out, and to visually show they’re best in class.”

“I love a challenge,” she continued, “and I wanted to be part of something new that I believe will work and have great synergy. I’m anxious to employ a holistic approach to finding creative solutions for client needs.”
