Founders of Britton Marketing & Design Group Receive AdFed Silver Medal Award

Fort Wayne, Indiana—The American Advertising Federation of Fort Wayne recently honored the owners of Britton Marketing & Design Group with the prestigious Silver Medal Award. While the program normally selects a single member every spring, this year was unique, as AdFed recognized Jeff Britton, president and co-owner, and Sue Britton, chief creative officer and co-owner.

The duo were acknowledged for their lifetime of achievement and dedication to the local advertising industry. Both Jeff and Sue have demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities, continuous involvement in community development, and tireless efforts to build the client base and creative talent at their agency.

AdFed members submitted applications for consideration in March. The Brittons were recognized as award recipients during a luncheon at the Fort Wayne Country Club on Thursday, May 25.

“It was very kind of the Advertising Federation to give us this honor. Happy team members and great work are our main goals in this tough business—and in that order,” Sue said. “Most people do not work for awards, but it was a pleasant reminder that we can bring a positive effect to this business (and our clients) when supporting the collective efforts of our talented team. We want to continue to support creativity in local students and local culture so we can join others (who live here in Fort Wayne) to build a great place to work and live.”

Jeff said, “Many people said kind things about us and the great work our team does, which was awesome to hear—even for shy, Midwestern creative types like us. The fact that Sue and I were both honored made us feel better because it reinforced our claim that Britton Marketing & Design Group is doing great work for its clients and within the industry. ”
