​Britton Marketing & Design Group Named to the Inc. 5000 List of the Fastest-Growing Companies in America

Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 19, 2016)—Inc. magazine today ranked Britton Marketing & Design Group No. 2,850 on its 35th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

The list represents the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment: independent small businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.

“It is exciting to be recognized for the second year in a row,” Jeff Britton, BMDG president and co-owner, said. “It’s always tough to get this award once, but twice in a row is a more exclusive club. It’s tough to keep on pace, since being included means sustained sequential increase. I doubt 2016 will be such a year for us, being an investment year, but I’ll bet 2017 could be another Inc. 5000 year for us—and we’ll move up the list too.”

BMDG was ranked No. 2,850 on the nationwide list, reporting three-year sales growth of 122 percent.

The 2016 Inc. 5000 was unveiled online at Inc.com, and the top 500 companies on the list will be featured in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands Aug. 23). The most competitive crop in the list’s history, the average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433 percent. The aggregate revenue of the companies on the latest Inc. 5000 is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8 percent of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period.
